Le groupe expose ensemble et publie son manifeste en 1955. Ainsi, \u00ab\u00a0les Plasticiens s\u2019attachent avant tout, dans leur travail, aux faits plastiques\u00a0: ton, texture, formes, lignes, unit\u00e9 finale qu\u2019est le tableau, et les rapports entre ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments. \u00c9l\u00e9ments assum\u00e9s comme fins\u00a0\u00bb, peut-on lire dans le document.
